This Cedar Lake home was built in 1936 and renovated in the 90s. The new owners were faced with years of inadequate maintenance—windows didn’t open, outdated appliances, plumbing issues, broken furnace, a general state of disrepair. But beyond the substantial remodeling needed, the desire to make the house a relaxed lakeside home city was paramount so traditional finishes were blended with modern conveniences, and most importantly, a clean, open aesthetic and expansive windows ensured the beauty of the lake flowed throughout the home.
